On November 28 of this year, a regular meeting of the Uzbek-Kazakhstan Mixed Commission on international road transport was held via videoconferencing.
During the meeting, the parties considered the development of international freight transport by road.
In particular, aspects related to the establishment of quotas for the exchange of permit forms for cargo transportation in 2023 (to/from third countries), as well as the introduction of an electronic (E-permit) system for the exchange of permit forms between countries in order to speed up the process of cargo transportation, were discussed.
The parties agreed to create a working group to implement the E-permit system and accelerate its implementation.
