Corruption

is the unlawful use by a person of his official or official position in order to obtain material or non-material benefits in personal interests or in the interests of other persons, as well as the illegal provision of such an opportunity.

Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. OP-419 of January 3, 2017 adopted the law “On Combating Corruption”.

The Law defines the basic principles of combating corruption:

legality

priority of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens

openness and transparency

systematic

cooperation between the state and civil society

priority of measures to prevent corruption

the inevitability of responsibility
